FIELD: mining.
SUBSTANCE: downhole surveying device for measurement of thermal properties of rocks and density of geothermal heat fluxes includes elongated tubular housing from heat-conducting material on the inner surface of which with thermal contact there installed is axisymmetrical resistive measuring heater of constant specific thermal power, which is thermally isolated from housing cavity as the part of common channel open to the well, fully shutoff with the valve during measurements, and on outer surface of housing there put are thermal electrodes from material of reference heat conductivity with temperature sensors installed on their cylindrical surface, housing with electronic unit; at that, solid thick-wall cylinder which is put on outer surface of tubular housing coincides with length of the measuring heater and on which there installed with chosen pitch are pairs of temperature sensors along its inner and outer generatrixes coinciding with one or several radial directions and lying in the appropriate planes of axial sections of cylinder; at that, distance throughout the length of probe between middle parts of adjacent pairs of sensors is height of thermal electrodes; probe is also equipped with surface treatment complex provided with possibility of generating according to measurement programme the control commands at treatment stages and forming the final measurement results in automatic and independent mode.
EFFECT: providing the possibility of measuring thermal properties of rocks and density of geothermal heat fluxes with high accuracy in independent and automatic modes.
