SUBSTANCE: access point includes wire interface module for reception of indicating information through wire network, which indicates whether access point that controls neighbouring non-uniform subnetwork supports protocol for performance of medium-independent handover (MIH), memory module for storage of received indicating information, module, generating data unit, to generate data unit, including stored indicating information, and wireless interface module for transfer of generated data unit into mobile unit.
EFFECT: invention provides for presentation of information, when mobile unit moves into non-uniform network, about the fact whether access point supports MIH-protocol in non-uniform network.
