FIELD: food industry.
SUBSTANCE: method includes preliminary heating of moist grains, drying, cooling and also cooling steam-and-air mixture of the drying agent after cooling and drying grains. The steam-and-air mixture is dried in the cold-receiver of a steam-ejector refrigerating machine and divided into two flows. One of them is directed for grains drying, the other flow is directed for grains cooling after drying. One uses a steam generator with electric heating elements and safety valves for producing operating steam with a pressure 0.8…1.0 MPa; this steam is divided into two flows. One of them is supplied into the calorifer for the drying agent heating while the second flow is directed into the ejector nozzle generating a decreased pressure 0.0009…0.001 MPa and a temperature 4…7°C in the evaporator of the steam-ejector refrigerating machine with recirculation of the cooling agent through the cold-receiver. After the ejector the generated mixture of cooling agent vapors and operating steam is directed into the condenser for preliminary heating of the drying agent. Part of condensed water generated in the condenser is supplied into the evaporator for compensation for water expenditure while the rest, together with condensate generated in the process of drying the steam-and-air mixture in the cold-receiver and condensate generated in the process of heating the drying agent in the calorifer with operating steam, is discharged into the steam generator, thus forming a closed cycle.
EFFECT: energy efficiency and providing for stable quality of the finished product.
