FIELD: drying.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a method for grain drying and an apparatus and can be used for drying wheat, barley, rye, triticale grain and grain of other cereal crops. For implementation of the method for drying, an ammonia-water refrigeration unit is used, the spent drying agent is finely purified to the content of the pulverised fraction of no more than 30 mg/m3, and the moisture condense therefrom is condense by regenerative heat exchange with the ammonia boiling in the working section of the evaporator of the ammonia-water refrigeration unit at a temperature of minus 10°C, vapours of boiling ammonia are absorbed with a weak ammonia-water solution at 35°C, the weak ammonia-water solution is heated in the boiler of the ammonia-water refrigeration unit by means of regenerative heat exchange with the superheated vapour to the boiling point of 130°C, producing a strong ammonia-water solution, the isolated ammonia vapours are condensed at 40°C, the condensed ammonia is throttled to a pressure of 0.26 MPa, and the boiling point thereof in the working section of the evaporator is brought to minus 14°C followed by supplying for absorption in the closed cycle mode, wherein the grain drying in the first stage is executed by a drying agent with a temperature and speed of 80°C and 1.2 m/s, in the second stage by a drying agent with a temperature of 110°C and a speed of 0.6 m/s, and at the final stage, the grain is cooled to a temperature not exceeding the ambient temperature by more than 10°C; and the spent superheated vapour after the boiler of the ammonia-water refrigeration unit used is to prepare the drying agent, divided into two streams, wherein one of said streams is mixed with the drying agent after the working section of the evaporator and supplied for the first stage of drying, and the second is directed for the second stage of drying, wherein the unfreezing of the evaporator section operating in the regeneration mode is executed with water with a temperature of 70°C.
EFFECT: increase in the quality of grain during drying and cooling.
