FIELD: medicine, pharmaceutics.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to an analgesic and antipyretic pharmaceutical composition containing 2.2-2.6 wt % of Paracetamol as a pharmaceutical substance, and adjuvants: eating sorbite, sodium benzoate, sodium citrate, citric acid, water, as well as a combination of solubilisers - propylene glycol in the amount 10-25 wt % and polyvinylpyrrolidone in the amount of 0.3-2 wt %. Specified solubilisers provide water dissolution of Paracetamol to produce a liquid homogeneous dosage form - a solubilised Paracetamol solution. Also the invention concerns a method for preparing the pharmaceutical composition by sequential water dissolution of propylene glycol and polyvinylpyrrolidone, then Paracetamol and the other adjuvants.
EFFECT: composition under the invention exhibits antimicrobial stability and sedimentary storage stability.
