SUBSTANCE: invention relates to chemical-pharmaceutical industry and medicine and concerns a new liquid dosage form for oral administration, having nootropic activity, containing as an active ingredient calcium salt of hopantenic acid in amount of 5–20 wt%, paraben in amount of 0.1–0.5 wt%, as well as auxiliary substances – balance up to 100 %. pH of the liquid dosage form is more than 5.0, but not more than 7.0. Also described is use of said liquid dosage forms for treating cognitive disorders and neurological disorders of various aetiology.
EFFECT: invention provides safe and convenient for use in children, stable during prolonged storage dosage form of calcium salt of hopantenic acid, as well as wider range of nootropic preparations suitable for use in paediatrics and convenient for use in children.
