FIELD: transport.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to railroad transport. Proposed electrical train comprises electric locomotive with DC traction motors supplied from DC or AC overhead contact circuit, storage batteries and cars. It is furnished with windmills. Turbine of one of the latter with diffuser attached to locomotive outer jacket is mounted at locomotive front on the shaft whereon flywheel and clutch revolve. Said clutch is coupled with reduction gear low rpm shaft. Reduction gear high rpm shaft is coupled with generator shaft via coupling. Windmills are mounted on welded frames arranged on roof of each car. Each windmill is connected with AC step-down transformer for AC-to-DC conversion, and DC traction motors of locomotive and cars, charging devices and storage batteries arranged under car body and inside locomotive, tubular electric heaters arranged in water boilers and boilers to produce hot water in car heating circuits, and with electric circuit of car illumination.
EFFECT: electric power savings and better ecology.
