FIELD: transport.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to railway transport. Electric train comprises head car and trailers with traction induction AC motors engaged via reduction gear with mounted axles and storage batteries with chargers. Train cars are equipped with windmills mounted at head car front. Every said windmill is connected via transformer and thyristor inverters with DC traction motors, chargers and storage batteries. Independent voltage inverter is connected with every traction induction AC motor, head car and trailers AC blower to operate in a locomotor mode as inverter of capacitor voltage. Said independent voltage inverter is connected with every traction induction motor with short-circuited rotor with blower. Every single-reduction gear with housing mounted at mounted axle in roller antifriction bearings comprises gear wheel fitted on mounted axle engaged with pinion shaft running in roller bearings and coupled via sleeve joint or gear clutch with traction motor. Reduction gear case housing rests on the layer of polymer material and "П"-like bracket secured to bogie frame from upper side to prevent its angular displacement.
