FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: rotary jet engine consists of case with rotor installed in it. Two cylinders are secured on the case. Each cylinder contains a piston equipped with a conrod-crank mechanism connected to a shaft of the rotor by means of a pinion drive. Three equally spaced shaped cavities are made on side surface of the rotor. In the case there two outlet nozzles and two inlet channels. Each inlet channel communicates with a corresponding cylinder. Both cylinders are assembled behind or before the rotor and are fixed on the case with their ends on the side of a crank chamber. The case is equipped with two sprayers for supply of fuel into the cavities of the rotor. The inlet channels supply air from the above said cylinders into the cavities of the rotor. The axle of the crank of the conrod-crank mechanism of each cylinder and the pinion drive are arranged inside the case. Internal diametre of the case is equal to external diametre of the rotor or commensurable to it. Axles of the cylinders and inlet channels are in the same diametric plane.
EFFECT: raised specific power of engine.
