FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: working process of rotary engine involves preparation of fuel-air mixture, its introduction to cavity of combustion chamber, ignition, performance of combustion stroke, and exhaust. Inner wall of the housing forms combustion chambers with cavities equally spaced relative to each other and made on cylindrical rotor. Radial section of combustion chamber has the shape with three sides, one side of which is curved outline of inner wall of the housing, and two other sides form the cavity of rotor and are straight-line and located at right angle relative to each other and one of them has radial direction. In order to perform combustion stroke in fuel-air mixture there excited are blast waves changing into detonation, in direction of rotor rotation by igniting the fuel-air mixture in rear part of combustion chamber in rotor rotation direction. Engine housing is equipped with supply and ignition devices of fuel-air mixture and exhaust channels which are tangential in relation to the rotor.
EFFECT: higher engine efficiency.
