INTERNAL COMBUSTION ENGINE Russian patent published in 2010 - IPC F02C5/04 F01D25/12 F01P3/12

Abstract RU 2406844 C1

FIELD: engines and pumps.

SUBSTANCE: proposed engine comprises regular shape cylinder that accommodates spherical rotor rigidly fitted on drive shaft. Rotor upper surface has a recess accommodating webs inclined to rotor diametrical line toward side directed from the rotor rotation. Said webs are arranged regularly along rotor circle. Rotor central part represents a drum made up of two equal chambers, intake and discharge, separated by web. Said web is furnished with cooling fluid intake orifices bored at the angle along rotor rotation. Web central part has orifices bored along drive shaft circumference to force air from one chamber into another in priming the engine with cooling fluid.

EFFECT: higher efficiency, better ecology, compact design, ease of manufacture and repair.
