FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: housing of pressure valve also includes stop ring and annular groove the four axial holes of which are connected to the cavity above the plunger through radial grooves in edge part of plunger bushing; at that, stop ring is located in annular groove with high precision along external cylindrical surface. Fuel pressure in the cavity above the plunger is supplied through radial grooves in edge part of plunger bushing and four axial holes in the housing of pressure valve to the stop ring, thus creating variable sealing forces between connection pipe and plunger bushing. Preliminary sealing forces for providing edge seals are created by tightening the connection pipe only for the mode of small loads, and their further value depends on fuel pressure which leads to the change of edge sealing forces. So, maximum deformation value of plunger bushing, which influences the wear of precision pair, is possible only in modes of nominal rotation frequencies of crankshaft of Diesel engine and cyclic fuel supplies in the area of maximum fuel pressure.
EFFECT: improving reliability and increasing service life of precision pairs of high pressure fuel pump of Diesel engines.
