FIELD: mechanical engineering; diesel engines. SUBSTANCE: proposed high-pressure fuel-injection pump of automobile diesel engine contains two-plunger pumping elements, whose plungers are mechanically coupled with control racks and are installed in barrels for turning around their axis and travel along axis under action of cams of high-pressure fuel-injection pump camshaft, low-pressure space connected with outlet holes of barrels and overplunger working spaces. Diesel engine fuel-injection pump is furnished additionally with electromagnetic operating device with electromagnetically coupled with control racks. Overplunger working spaces of each two-plunger pumping element are interconnected and connected common delivery valve with high-pressure line of fuel supply system. One of plungers of each two-plunger pumping element is provided with upper helical edge, and barrel in which other plunger with cutoff edge is installed is provided with cutoff hole communicating with low-pressure space. Relative arrangement of intake holes is such that at synchronous operating movement of plungers, possibility of priority overlapping of intake hole in barrel of plunger with cutoff edge is provided.
