SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the oil industry, in particular to the mechanical drive of a rod pump. It is a rocking machine that includes a frame, a rack pivotally connected to it, a balance beam having a body and a head, a traverse, a crank mechanism, a gearbox, and an electric engine. The rack has a front and rear support, connected pivotally. The head of the balance beam is made with the possibility of rotation. The upper working platforms are installed under the body of the balance beam. A working platform is installed above the gearbox. The electric engine is mounted on a movable plate mounted on a rigid structure. The head of the balance beam is made monolithic, with the ability to rotate at an angle of up to 90°; it is connected to the balance beam body with a finger and a spring lock. The end fence of the working platform installed above the gearbox is designed to function as a ladder for climbing to the upper working platforms.

EFFECT: device provides ease of maintenance, strengthening and simplification of the design.
