FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: water-salt solution of pyridoxine hydrochloride is prepared, for which pharmacopoeial purity pyridoxine hydrochloride solution is put into a 100 cm3 measuring flask, and, while stirring, brought to the mark of saturation with a salting-out agent in form of potassium carbonate. Pyridoxine hydrochloride is extracted with chemically pure alcohol, for which the obtained pyridoxine solution is mixed with ethanol in volume ratio of the water-salt solution of pyridoxine hydrochloride to ethanol equal to 10:1. Extraction is carried out for 5-7 minutes. After salting out the system, the aqueous phase is separated from the organic phase and analysed through UV spectrophotometry. Optical density of the water-salt solution is measured on UV spectrophotometer at wavelength 310 nm.
EFFECT: rapidness, accuracy and reliability of analysis.
