FIELD: physics.

SUBSTANCE: device for measuring speed of a projectile has electric contacts (1) which close an electrical circuit. The electric contacts are placed on flexible plates on which flexible lugs on the boundaries of base distance rest, where due to the projectile, said lugs interact with the flexible plates of the contacts and close them. The device also has an OR element (7), a shift register (8), first (9), second (10), third (11) and fourth (16) AND elements, a pulse generator (12), and first (13), second (14) and third (15) counters, a start button (18) and a flip flop (17).

EFFECT: high reliability of measurement results of the device owing to obtaining measurement results only during projection of the body.
