FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: apparatus for holding a clock winder in an inactive and working position is in form of a mechanism for holding the pintle of a clock winder in an inactive position buried into the watchcase and holding the pintle of the clock winder projecting from the watchcase in one, two or more working positions with possibility of functioning as a result of mechanical action of the butt-end of the pintle along the axis of the clock winder.
EFFECT: improved functionalities of the clock winder with increase in reliability, air-tightness and smaller size of the watch without elements of the clock winder coming out of the watchcase in the inactive position.
