FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: self-winding device of mechanical energy storage battery of a clockwork contains a heat engine designed with a possibility of conversion of temperature difference in two different space points into mechanical motion transmitted to the mechanical energy storage battery of the clockwork. The heat engine contains a working body placed in a closed heat-exchange vessel, a displacer freely moving in this vessel under action of gravity force and a mechanism of pressure change conversion into mechanical motion. The mechanical transmission from the heat engine to the mechanical energy storage battery is performed by a self-winding mechanism. When the spatial position of the mechanism is changed under action of gravity forces the massive displacer constantly displaces the working body from the heater to the cooler and vice versa. The heat engine is designed with a possibility of conversion of difference of temperature near the clock surface of hours and ambient temperature into operation of the clockwork of a mechanical clock.
EFFECT: prevention of occurrence of thermodynamic balance of the system inside a heat engine, thus ensuring reliability and accuracy of clockwork.
