SUBSTANCE: apparatus for automatic winding of the mechanical battery of a clock mechanism comprises a thermal engine, capable of converting temperature difference at two different points in space into mechanical motion which is transmitted to the mechanical battery of the clock mechanism, wherein the operating cycle of the engine is set by the clock mechanism. The apparatus additionally includes a transmission mechanism. The operating cycle of the thermal engine is set by the clock mechanism through the transmission mechanism. Mechanical transmission from the thermal engine to the mechanical battery is carried out through a winding mechanism. Said automatic winding apparatus is used in a clock mechanism which can be installed on both portable and fixed mechanical clocks. The technical result of the invention is providing a constant clock rate and high accuracy of clocks by providing constant torque of a spring motor, which is transmitted to a trigger controller.
EFFECT: complete automation of clock operation without external user action by using temperature difference of different regions in space and enabling use of the clock mechanism in both portable and fixed clocks.
