FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: air-and-water clock device consists of two tightly joined vessels containing movable materials. According to the invention, the joint between the vessels is tubular and the movable materials are water and air. The tubular joint can be in form of one or two tubes. When joining using one tube, the ends of the tube lie inside the vessels near their closest parts. In one version for joining with two tubes, the ends of one tube are in parts of the vessels closest to each other, and ends of the other tube are in the furthest parts of the vessels. In another version of joining with two tubes, all ends of the tubes are in the furthest parts of the vessels and each tube on opposite sides has an opening near the closest parts of the vessels.
EFFECT: design of a device with clear and pronounced dynamic movement and interaction of movable materials in closed space when using simple structural shapes and movable materials.
