SUBSTANCE: method of generating a sequence of masking samples during communication with transmission of a digitised audio signal includes a step on which a sequence of masking samples is generated from buffered samples of digital presentation of the audio signal in the sampling time order, wherein at least two successive sample sequences in the masking sample sequence is based on sequences of the buffered samples. The sequences of buffered samples follow each other in an altered time order.

EFFECT: high quality of audio signal during transmission in wireless communication systems and packet switched networks.
