SUBSTANCE: when message is sent from transmitting device, it is determined whether receiving device is able to display the message without adaptation of the message content. If receiving device is able to display the message without adaptation of its content, then receiving device displays the message. If receiving device is not able to display the message without adaptation of the message content, then transmitting device is informed that the message may not be displayed in the receiving device without adaptation of its content. Receiving device may also be informed on parts of the message that may not be displayed by receiving device, and instructions are provided, so that receiving device does not display the message at all, if the message requires adaptation.
EFFECT: provision of possibility to control adaptation of message and receiving information regarding any changes made to it, which ensures high extent of control over the message with provision of the possibility to the user to change this message depending on abilities of receiving device.
