FIELD: mobile communication systems.
SUBSTANCE: described are a method and a device of attaching animation to SMS-type messages. When such message is formed, text and/or symbol SMS fields are used, which provide: the mobile identification number of the receiving device, the animation flag, the content position indicator, the animation type parameter, text and/or symbol bound to the message. The animation flag defines whether the SMS-message will have animation applied to this message by the receiving device. The content position indicator will define a particular location of the file which is stored on the device and is to be bound with the message. The animation type parameter defines how the content file bound with the message will be animated.
EFFECT: standard SMS-messages will be able to produce graphical effects on the receiving device.
