FIELD: food industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to domestic animals (in particular - dogs) feeding. The dog feeding method envisages additional introduction of selenopyran to the basic ration in an amount of 133 - 1200 mcg per 1 kg of the basic ration dry substance. The invention implementation enables dog health and life quality improvement due to optimisation of the processes of lipolysis, lipogenesis, lipid peroxidation and cholesterol metabolism.
EFFECT: invention usage enables immunogenesis stimulation (in cell and humoral forms), activation of the antioxidant-antiradical organism protection system, induction of the monooxygenase system eliminating exogenous organic and mineral xenobiotics from the organism and neutralisation of endogenously generated toxics and "refuses", reduction in concentration of lipid peroxidation products and atherogenic factors in blood as well as antiatherogenic factors concentration increase.
