FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: method is aimed at increase in rate of fertilisation of eggs and hatchability of chickens. The method comprises additional introduction to the basic diet of laying hens of dihydroethoxyquin in an amount of 30 mg per kilogram of dry matter of the basic diet and selenium-pyran in an amount of 9 mg per kilogram of dry matter of the diet.
EFFECT: use of the invention enables to affect favourably on the body's metabolism of laying hens and to improve the quality of hatching eggs.
