FIELD: fire fighting equipment.

SUBSTANCE: unit comprises a two-filler body with a chemical powder, a gas generator mounted in the second filler and gas-dynamically connected through a truncated cone with an aerator equipped with apertures with opening elements. The module body is connected with a reflector cone-concave towards the first filler. A gas powder regulating element represents an annular space between the case and reflector provided with washers in the attachment point of the body and reflector.

EFFECT: unit enables higher effectiveness of fire extinguishing, enhanced performance and convenience, extended range of application according to the current demands, minimised residual weight of the fire-fighting powder in the unit case after being actuated regardless of spatial arrangement thereof, provided universality of the unit due to the possibility of using both automatic, and manual start-up for throwing in a fire zone due to elimination of unidirectional gas powder discharge from the unit case and enabled complete fluidisation of fire-fighting powder combined with higher reliability and portability of the structure.
