FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to gas drying units. Proposed installation comprises recuperative heat exchanger, primary separator and gas dynamic drier, all connected in series. Gas dynamic drier comprises housing with branch pipes, separation chamber and coaxial diffusers to discharge has and fluid. Fluid discharge diffuser represents a slot between separation chamber walls and a gas discharge diffuser. Installation incorporates several tapered nozzle channels arranged along the separation chamber edges and connected to chamber inlet by their outlets. Separation chamber comprises axial boot and moving partition abutting nozzle channel outlet edges. Distance between partition and boot makes 0.1-0.3 of the chamber inlet diametre. Chamber outlet diametre increases toward diffuser to form, together with boot, a tapered annular channel. Chamber outer wall outlet section is perforated, for 0.2-0.3 of its length, by tangential slots communicated, together with fluid discharge diffuser, with gas discharge diffuser inlet section.
EFFECT: efficient separation of condensed heavy hydrocarbons.
