FIELD: transport.
SUBSTANCE: proposed method comprises mounting an obstacle on carriageway to decelerate transport facility. Said obstacle is made up of hinged gate with detachable mesh-web consisting of two parts with buffer length. Note here that free ends of said mesh-web are fastened to braking wind/unwind drums and wound on the latter. Obstacle mounted in working position, both parts of said mesh-web are interconnected to allow their detachment. With transport facility approaching the obstacle, its control system is used for remote control transport facility speed and weight. Depending upon transport facility speed and weight, aforesaid system is used to vary resistance to rotation of each braking wind/unwind drum. After transport facility collides with obstacle with mesh-web entrained by the former, facility is decelerated by said mesh-web and braking wind/unwind drums.
EFFECT: forced stop of transport facility.
