FIELD: transport.
SUBSTANCE: invention is designed to control passage of motor transport into the territory of special guarded objects, to prohibit unauthorised passage thereto, and to halt the said transport aiming at breaking through towards the guarded objects. The proposed simple-design and operation anti-ram barrier incorporates two supports spaced apart by the distance not smaller than the motor transport width and a cable barrier crossing the passage and attached to the said supports. The proposed structure comprises also the pillars mounted behind the said supports, along the motor transport motion, with the capsizing platforms hinged to the said pillars and accommodating a "hedgehog"-type metal structures falling on to roadway with the said platforms capsized. The cable arranged across the roadway is linked with retainers preventing the platform capsizing, the distance between the supports and pillars is selected subject to the motor transport ramming speed. The cable can furnished with connectors arranged on both supports and laid in a metal pipe at the section between the support and pillar.
EFFECT: reliable blocking of passage, ease of manufacture, installation and operation.
