FIELD: oil and gas industry.
SUBSTANCE: method involves cutting of core column into core column about 1 metre long with diametre equal to diametre of core column with further preparation of columns by means of drying and/or extraction or without such preparation. In order to determine anisotropy of formation permeability, there used is special laboratory unit the design of which includes detachable casing-core holder consisting of two metal halves rubber-coated on inner side of hollow cylinder with two rows of diametrically opposite located connection pipes fixed on them, one row on upper half and the other row - on lower half of the casing-core holder, two edge metal covers with connection pipes located on them in the centre, sealing edge gaskets and thin annular gaskets. Connection pipes are used for subsequent creation of filtration flows directed to different sides by pumping the fluid (gas) and its extraction and supply via receiving tubes connected to connection pipes to the receiving capacity. At connection points of lower connection pipes to receiving tubes there installed are pressure and flow rate sensors for measurements of pressure change and flow in time.
EFFECT: improving the accuracy degree of determination of the formation permeability in laboratory conditions.
