SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the oil industry, and in particular to a method for determining effective gas-blocking systems for selective blocking of highly permeable gas-saturated zones of under-gas fields. The method comprises the following steps: a) obtaining field data on reservoir temperature, reservoir pressure, salinity level of reservoir and/or produced water, physical and chemical properties of reservoir oil and reservoir type at the object under study; b) obtaining and analyzing samples of reservoir fluids and core material for the object under study; c) determination of gas-blocking systems corresponding to the geological and physical conditions of the object under study; d) determination of gas-blocking systems compatible with reservoir and/or associated produced water and reservoir oil by conducting free volume studies; e) determination of gas-blocking systems stable for 30 days at reservoir temperature, which were selected for compatibility with reservoir and/or produced water at the previous stage; f) determination of foam blocking gas blocking systems from those selected at the previous stage, g) determination of gas blocking systems from those selected at the previous stage, h) determination of gas blocking systems from those selected at the previous stage, having saturation and permeability selectivity based on the results of studies on parallel core models.

EFFECT: reliable determination of gas-blocking systems effective in reservoir conditions and, as a result, in increasing the efficiency of selective blocking of highly permeable gas-saturated zones of oil and gas fields.
