Compressed air is supplied to the pneumocylinders beginning from its centre to the ends, the beams are pressed at the seam roof, and when mining an extraction pillar in the opposite direction, a pneumocylinder nearest to the powered roof support of the mining face and the nearest mine props are discharged and taken out to the belt roadway. The upper canopies of powered support sections hold the nearest ends of the beams, "П"-shaped supports are put on the bed soil behind the support of the mining face and the pneumocylinders are placed inside them, the compressed air is supplied to the cylinders pushing apart the supports between roof and bed soil, after shifting of the supports under the influence of the ground pressure and after walls of "П"-shaped supports have contacted with bed soil, pneumocylinders are decompressed and taken out into belt roadway. Note that pneumocylinders are installed in front of the line of mining face at a distance equal to the width of temporary support pressure area, and after the long face there installed are two "П"-shaped supports inserted into one another, one of which is arranged by supports to the seam roof.

EFFECT: more effective protection of development drifts and reduction of expenses for their maintenance in case of reuse.
