SUBSTANCE: according to method of detecting coal spontaneous ignition at an early stage that includes the determination of liquid aerosol contents in the air that passed through coal accumulations by way of this air supply through sorbing agent, for example silica gel, there additionally determined is relative humidity of air sample passed through sorbing agent and the quantity of liquid aerosol contained in the air is determined by the formula Cl = Ms/V-0.622Pρ (1/(P-P0)-φ/(P0- Pφ)), where Cl - content of liquid aerosol in the air, kg/m3; Ms - liquid aerosol and steam mass in air sample absorbed by sorbing agent, kg; V - air volume passed through sorbing agent, m3; ρ - air density, kg/m3; P - saturated steam pressure; P0 - air barometric pressure; φ - air relative humidity after passing through sorbing agent.
EFFECT: improvement of coal spontaneous ignition detection method at an early stage, increase of mining works security.
