FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: high-voltage transformer comprises core, yokes and windings arranged in casing. They are submerged into transformer oil and are equipped with insulating structure, comprising facilities to insulate end (1) of high-voltage winding. Insulating facilities comprise protective shield (4) arranged over end (1) of winding, and structure (2) of pressed cardboard arranged in the form of zigzag structure, placed around end (1) of winding and specified protective shield (4), which comprises core (5) coated with conducting layer (6) and continuous solid insulating layer (7) outside conducting layer. Insulating layer (7) contains connected solid insulating sections (701-708), at least, part of which has various thickness. Invention also relates to protective shield and method of such shield manufacturing.
EFFECT: reduced electrostatic voltage in critical areas outside protective shield, improved mechanical strength and thermal characteristics.
