FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to neurology and neurosurgery. Electrometry of skin is carried out in zone of autonomous innervation of injured and symmetrical healthy nerve in dynamics. If in first days after operation skin electric potential increases in comparison with skin electric potential before operation, when coefficient of asymmetry reaches value 10-50, and in the following 2 weeks increases to higher than 50 with reduction of electric potential, suture strength and further complete recovery are diagnosed. If skin electric potential in first days after operation considerably decreases in comparison with skin electric potential before operation and coefficient of symmetry increases to more than 50 and its further increase is not essential, insufficient strength of nerve suture is diagnosed and further recovery of extremity function will be partial or slow.
EFFECT: prognosing the result of rehabilitation of the extremities.
