FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to plasma engineering, namely to chemical reactors exploiting electromagnetic radiation and/or electric discharge in gas medium to activate and liberate potential energy of gases. Proposed reactor comprises chamber with gas reagent feed branch pipe, nozzle to discharge high-pressure plasma from chamber space, and branch pipe-waveguide for electromagnetic wave generator to be connected thereto. Chamber is made from metal, its inner surface being coated by lead layer and outer surface being coated by refractory dielectric material layer. Chamber houses refractory electrodes to connected high-pressure voltage source. Gas reagent feed branch pipe incorporates check valve and shield made from material transparent for electromagnetic waves. Refractory dielectric material of chamber inner space coat is made from porcelain or ceramics. Refractory electrodes are made from tungsten or graphite, while plasma discharge nozzle represents Laval or Mach nozzle.
EFFECT: use for reclamation of industrial flue gases, efficient us of natural gas.
