FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: device employs a thermal vacuum chamber inside of which there are two calibration instruments suspended on threads. Each instrument has a black body simulator and a system for controlling temperature of the wall of the cavity of said simulator, which includes an electric heater and a temperature sensor fitted on the wall of the cavity of the simulator, and screen-vacuum heat insulation which covers the outer surface of the wall of the cavity of the simulator except a window in the wall of the cavity of the simulator. The windows of the black body simulators lie opposite each other. A radiant energy receiver is suspended on threads in the space between the windows. The sensitive planes of the said receiver are parallel the planes of the windows and lie at a distance which prevents thermal contact between the radiant energy receiver and the calibration instruments.
EFFECT: graduation of receivers in conditions close to their working conditions in space, and in conditions for using the receivers during thermal vacuum tests of spacecraft or its component parts.
