FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: apparatus has a radiation energy receiver made from two thin-wall plates placed next to each other. The working surfaces of the thin-wall plates are coated with a thermal control coating - on the first plate with a low solar absorption factor and high thermal emissivity, and on the second plate with a high solar absorption factor and high thermal emissivity. A heat sensitive element is placed on each nonworking surface of the plates. The nonworking surface of each thin-wall plate having a heat sensitive element is coated with a thermal control coating with high solar and thermal radiation reflecting power.
EFFECT: possibility of controlling radiation flux based on spectra of radiation falling on spacecraft in the region of interest of a thermal-vacuum chamber.
