FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: cycloconverter/cycloinverter can be used for direct conversion of multiphase alternating voltage of one frequency into multiphase alternating voltage of another frequency adjusted upwards and downwards from input voltage frequency and with possibility of obtaining output voltage of higher value than input voltage as well as of lower value. Such converters are used first of all for the purpose of electric drive AC frequency adjustment, also in autonomous systems of AC generation. The proposed cycloconverter/cycloinverter consists of classic three-phase cycloconverter/cycloinverter of AC nine key contacts the input of which is connected to commuted LC-circuit. It consists of accumulative inductor and storage capacitor series-connected to each input phase, and three-phase bridge diode rectifier with transistor at the output. Note that accumulative inductors and storage capacitors are series-connected between supply mains and inputs of classic cycloconverter/cycloinverter. The inputs of three-phase bridge diode rectifier with transistor at the output are connected to contact points of accumulative inductors and storage capacitors.
EFFECT: more simple structure.
