FIELD: transport.
SUBSTANCE: fifth wheel drive comprises base with two guides, and moving carriage. Said carriage supports fifth wheel to interact with guides. Locking blocks are arranged opposite each other on the carriage. Said locks serve to lock carriage in guides. Regulator transfer locking blocks into unlocking and locking positions. Motorised drive with hydraulic cylinder is connected to hydraulic circuit and control unit via control valve. The latter controls amount of motion of hydraulic cylinder. Note here that control unit control both hydraulic circuit and aforesaid regulator.
EFFECT: automatic regulation of distance between tractor and trailer.
