SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices for coupling a semi-trailer with a tractor. A recuperative spring-hydraulic saddle-coupling device of a road train contains a mounting plate fixed on a tractor frame with a saddle base plate mounted on the mounting plate, two extreme and two intermediate supports fixed on the mounting plate, a hydraulic cylinder with a plunger, compression springs, a case made in the form of a cylinder with a jumper fixed inside it with a through channel and equipped with end caps with holes rigidly connected to it, two guide axes, a bracket, a pneumo-hydraulic battery, pressure reducing and safety valves, check valves, a hydraulic tank, flexible, pressure and suction pipelines, a port for supplying working fluid to a consumer. A piston cavity of the hydraulic cylinder, by means of the through channel in the jumper of the case and flexible, pressure and suction pipelines, communicates both with the hydraulic tank by means of one check valve and with the pneumo-hydraulic battery by means of another check valve.

EFFECT: energy recuperation is achieved due to accumulating kinetic energy of moving mass, increase in the reliability of the road train, and reduction in dynamic loads on structural elements of the tractor and semi-trailer.
