FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: holding device consists of element of pin with elongated body. An enlarged head at one end of the pin engages one side of parts. A grooved section of the pin protracts beyond boundaries of the opposite side of parts. A yoke consists of a section of a body fit for crimping in locking grooves of the pin in response to relative axial crimping load applied with a seat member. The yoke is strengthened and does not require thermal treatment; it facilitates optimal combination of reduced thickness of the yoke body and increased rigidity, thus minimising crimping load. For locking grooves of the pin there is made a profile of thread with a weak crimping load. Here there are also disclosed procedures of installation of holding device of crimping type by means of holding system with a weak crimping load.
EFFECT: high strength of connection and simplicity of assembly.
