FIELD: machine engineering.
SUBSTANCE: outer mounting structure section is formed in the outer surface of the cutting tool shank. The inner mounting section is formed in the inner surface of the tool holder cartridge. The mounting element is configured to be mounted on the inner and outer mounting sections and includes a protruding section that protrudes from the outer shank circumference when mounted on the outer mounting section. From the open side of the inner space to the inner mounting section, a guide groove is made to guide the protruding section of the mounting element. The inner mounting section has a surface that prevents relative rotation between the holder body and the cutting tool at its contact with the protruding section and that prevents slipping of the cutting tool.
EFFECT: reliable fastening of the cutting tool.
