SUBSTANCE: crimp ring, comprising: ring element, having the first end, second end opposite to the first end, and outer diameter; flange extending in the circumferential direction from the first end of the ring element and having an outer diameter; and toothed protrusion formed at location near which the first end of the ring element passes into the flange, besides the protrusion includes plurality of teeth and plurality of cavities. Each of the plurality of teeth extends non-radially towards the second end of the ring element, and each of the plurality of cavities extends non-radially toward the first end of the ring element, besides the crimp ring is designed with possibility of crimping. When the crimp ring is crimped, each of the plurality of teeth and each of the plurality of cavities of protrusion is subject to deformation from the undeformed state into the deformed state, in which each of the plurality of teeth and each of the plurality of cavities of protrusion merges with the outer diameter of the ring element and outer diameter of the flange.
EFFECT: opportunity to create the crimp ring which uses less material, providing the adequate support area and visual indication of the finished crimp.
