FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: proposed method consists in using the results of not only echo-signals power estimation at the left and right of central sample but also intermediate estimation obtained by delaying in the second estimation delay unit in mean value metre intended for estimating interference level. Both first delay unit and second delay unit have N leadouts whereon appropriate estimates exist shifted by element of range. In stationary noises, proposed detector allows adapting to noise level and extent by selecting, on using N units of the largest of two nose estimations, optimum section for estimating noise power in the vicinity of target that rules out notable increase in false alarms.
EFFECT: reducing number of false alarms in case there interferences consisting of insufficiently suppressed noises, passive interferences, and active dynamic interferences.
