SUBSTANCE: invention relates to radiolocation and can be used to detect signals on a background of noise, having unknown power, in particular for detecting signals in conditions of inhomogeneous noise whose power varies with range. To achieve the technical result, three versions of the method of detecting signals with constant false alarm level are proposed, each functioning in a defined way and which provide the same technical result in conditions where noise is uniform only on a defined section of the range window, position and extent parametres of which may vary in a wide range. Each method is realised using a corresponding device.
EFFECT: low detection losses and high stability of false alarm probability.
