FIELD: transport.
SUBSTANCE: in traffic control, for each crossing flow, controlling signal light sets the certain sequence of resolving, warning and forbidding signals. Accelerating signal light installed ahead of controlling signal light at preset distance therefrom, additionally sends resolving and forbidding signals. Moments of sending resolving and forbidding signals by accelerating signal light, are selected advanced in time compared with those sent by controlling signal light. Note here that transport facilities of any direction may enter the zone between signal lights on cutting in resolving signal on the first signal light and warning signal on the second signal light, accelerate during time before cutting in of resolving signal on the second signal light, and simultaneously run thought crossing in all directions on cutting in resolving signal on the second signal light. Note also traffic may be interrupted before pedestrian crossings arranged ahead of crossing at a distance equal to at least one transport facility.
EFFECT: increased crossing capacity at minimum costs of crossing re-equipment, higher traffic safety.
