SUBSTANCE: in the zone of Achilles tendon a sock has an elastic portion formed by at least two elastic strips. Between the elastic strips there is a horizontal clearance. The elastic strips have a bent shape. Outer ends of the elastic strips are bent down toward the heel to the area located below the highest point of the adjacent elastic strip.
EFFECT: reliable protection of the Achilles tendon from the effects of friction and shocks, even distribution of pressure in that area.
