FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: technique enables radical removal of all pathologically changed tissues of both epicondyle itself, and attachments of all muscles thereto that provides favourable conditions for revascularisation of the epicondyle and tendinous attachments of the muscles. The technique involves exposure of an attachment region of extensors to the epicondyle of humerus, removal of pathological tissues within an attachment region of the extensor capri radialis brevis. The attachment of the muscles is exposed by a retro approach from the epicondyle. The attachments of all muscles to the epicondyle are separated; portions of supracondylar necrotising bone tissue are resected. Distrophically changed regions of the entire supracondylar surface are multiply drilled through deeply. A layer of tissue is excised from the entire surface of the tendinous attachments of the muscles adjoining a bone to observe a clear fibrous structure of the tendons. Extensor aponeurosis is full-width multiply perforated transversally chequer-wise throughout several centimetres.
EFFECT: technique eliminates extensor hypertonus, prevents recurrences.
