FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: to improve hydrolysis of a reducing agent in a system for further treatment of exhaust gases a partial stream 3 of exhaust gases which is less than a stream of exhaust gases 2, is branched off from the stream 2 upstream selective catalytic reduction (SCR)-catalyst 9, where a batcher 17 for supplying the reducing agent is located in partial stream 3. Said partial stream 3 is returned to stream 2 of exhaust gases down stream a hydrolysis catalyst 16 and upstream the SCR-catalyst 9. Temperature of the hydrolysis catalyst 16 is maintained by controlling the amount of exhaust gases directed in the partial stream 3. The amount of exhaust gases directed in the partial stream 3 is controlled using a throttling device 12.
EFFECT: invention ensures working capacity of the hydrolysis catalyst used in a secondary stream of a system for further treatment of exhaust gases, and prevents deposits of solid substances such as cyanuric acid, ammelide, ammeline and melanin in the secondary stream.
